Sunday, the day Danelle came back with a little piece of heaven...

The bad news: Danelle left last Thursday on school trip to Oklahoma and was gone all weekend, it was rather sad.

The good news: She got back last night.

The even better news: I had told her before she left that because she was going to be in the land of Chick-fil-a, she absolutely had to eat there.

For those of you who have no idea what Chick-fil-a is, I will give you a brief definition:
It's the most amazing place to eat in the ENTIRE universe!

It’s kind of like a fast food chicken place, but not really because it’s 500x better and comparing Chick-fil-a to a fast food chain would be a sin. The point is it’s AMAZING!

Anyway, being the wonderful roommate that she is and knowing how in love with Chick-fil-a I am, she brought me back a sandwich. According to everyone on her trip, employees at Chick-fil-a, the flight attendants, and most likely you as well, eating a sandwich 8 hours later is gross and unsafe. However, Danelle (thankfully) ignored what they said and brought the little piece of heaven back to me.

When she walked in the door the first thing she did was hand me the sandwich and tell me the stories of everyone on the plane asking why she still had the sandwich and then all the nonsense about how it isn’t good to eat things that have been out of the fridge that long. I laughed and then proceeded to eat the sandwich.

It was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and I’m not sick yet, but even if I do get sick from it, it’s Chick-fil-a and totally worth it.
